What are recommended parameters for keeping and coral growth in a mix reef ? And what instant ocean salt to be used ?
Kinda new to reef tanks.

For salt I would use Reef Crystals. It is a cheaper mix compared to others and I buy it on Amazon every month.
dang that is a ton of salt! how many systems r u running?
havent used io or rc in years but does it still leave residue or take long to mix? it will definitely work fine just was a bit too annoying for me

I am running 2. A 24 gallon main tank and a 10g quarantine. I buy the bag that makes 50 gallons worth of saltwater. It lasts me like 2 months. I just add 400g for every 2.5 gallons of water. If you think about it there is actually a lot of salt to pour into a small volume of water but it’s just enough to reach perfect salinity-1.026. To fully mix I just let it sit in a bucket with a heater and a pump overnight and it’s fully dissolved the next day.
