I am getting ready to buy a 180 with staphire font pane. I am curious where the best place to buy one is. I like the fact that Miracles aquariums has a stand and canopy that looks nice, however I have heard that the bottoms crack on a lot of them. Anyone with experience or suggestions please give them. Thanks in advance.

I would check your local craigslists or reef club for tanks. There are tons of people getting out right now, and it is a good time to buy.

Thanks for the advise, I would love to wait but I can't, I just sold my 125 for a great price but the guy wants it soon. I have always wanted a starphire tank and I have the money so no better time like the present.

I am sorry in my first post I said Miracles but I meant to say Glasscages. I have heard that several of the glasscages tanks have cracked the bottom glass. Anyone with experience?

Is acrylic an option for you? I was in the same place you were, a year a go and decided to go acrylic. I have not been disappointed. Starfire is almost as bad as acrylic as far as scratching.
