Letting the tank do it’s thing with “dry rock.” PO4 0.5 in this picture. NO3 10+




Got tired of looking at funky diatom blooms and took the PO4 down to 0.05 over a few weeks. Then took the NO3 back to 5.

The cyano came back due to depleted levels of NO3 and PO4 at the 4 month mark when my Siporax really kicked in. All the numbers took a dive and the cyano and some other weird algae took control.

I dosed NO3 and fed reef roids a lot heavier and it finally went away. Here's some pics:
