Hey!

So Im back again.. been a few years out of the game. But last easter I got myself a Fusion 20, though I like a nano tank. I dont wanna be so limited with space and what kinda livestock I can keep. So when a fairly decent 65g rimless tank popped up on Finn.no (Norwegian craigslist kinda) i pulled the trigger.

It came with a stand and tank of course, the stand was somewhat ruff around the edges with paint cracking and some nails poking out.. But who doesn´t like a good fixxer upper :D

I have scraped and fixed the cracks, painted the stand in a nice grey colour, the inside was painted grey. So thats good to go!
The tank itself had a overflowbox in the corner with a standpipe. That had to go, Im gonna glue some glass over the two holes in the bottom. Well, how are you gonna get your water to your sump u ask????

Eshopps Prodigy L, I tell u ;)
Going to drill new holes for the drains, and returns.. Everything will be plumbed in 1"
The order for plumbing parts was put it in today, so someday over easter it will be at my doorstep.

-Equipment..!

Skimmer will be a Reef Octo Classic 150sss
Returnpump is a Reef Octo VarioS 4
Lights will be 2x Kessil A360X

I´ll be moving my real reef rock from the Fusion over when time is right. And fill in with some more, not sure if Im going with RRR or maybe something like marco rocks.

It will probably be a mixed reef, but aquascape wise less is more in my eyes.

Still looking for a good sump, not too much to choose from here in Norway, not getting glass. And its gotta be a decent size, since I wanna have good refugium. Leaning towards trying the Triton method this time around.

Picture will come, I promise :D

Stay safe people

Nothing much going on with the build yet, still waiting on equipment and parts. But wanted to share I ordered my sump today, a Reef Synergy TS34 in grey/red. This will look awesome with the stand and plumbing, and of course do the trick with my refugium and Triton method. Cant wait to get my hands on this.

Anyone here with experience on the Reef Synergy sumps?? Plz share

Some more stuff I will be running on the tank. And for rock I´ve been thinking of real reef rock branch, or Caribsea Belize. Maybe mixing them up. Seen som really cool scapes with this rock.

So there is little progress on the tank these days, waiting on equipment. sump etc. But I got the Eshopps Prodigy installed this weekend, man does it look gooooood :) My Gorilla Glue arrived, used this on my previous build and I am really pleased with it.

For scape, Im in love with the branch rocks, I can just vision the sps outgrowing it. I´ll keep u posted for more.

Hey people :)

So things are moving along, slow but steady. Just received my new sump this week. So I´ve started plumbing the tank. Still waiting on some parts to come in so I can finalize it. Went to my local fishstore yesterday and picked up most the stuff that will be running on this tank.

Not decided yet what powerheads Im gonna use, but I am going back and forth between Reef Octopulse, and the Nero 5, but since there will be mostly Reef Octo gear on the tank Im leaning towards that tbh, any of you guys have some experience with thoose please share them :)

I also got 3 boxes of RRR Branch rock, so I´ve just started to play around to get a feel for what Im going for at the moment.

Have a great sunday! :D
