Hi everyone. I’m looking for the preset profiles for sps and mixed reef for the Reefbdeeders Photon V2 Pro. I have two of them mounted over a 180. I did the manual config and think I may be way off, so I wanted to compare to recommended sps or mixed reef settings…but I cant see those profiles on the app for some reason.

I have an apogee par meter (MQ-510) and will be looking to make adjustments later today. Thanks in advance for any help!

I have the old reef Nexus app and the newer Reefbreeders app. I don't see any presets on either. The new app has a bunch of shared settings under the community tab. Maybe you can find something there to start. I have photons over my acro tank. When I set them up i adjusted the lights so they were pleasing to me then i adjusted the percentages to get the par I wanted. Not how folks typically set up lights but its worked for me.

EDIT. I'm getting 500 par on the two corals up high amd 250ish on the bottom. Im running two 32 V2 pros over 36x22x22" tank.

That’s similar to the par I’m getting but I do have some purple acros that are losing color, which is why I started looking at PAR. I’m in the 500+ rang on the top acros and around 250 on the sand bed in a 24” deep tank. It’s a 180g, 6’x2’x2’ with two 32” photon V2 pros.

The real question here is if I should reduce par. My purple acros up high have lost color.

Been doing this for about 26 years but never had a par meter or the other technologies we do today
