Reefbrite XHO K15 with Profilux, PAB and Dimmable S5

I am curious if you can use the dimmable S5 slot on the GHL profilux PAB powerbar to dim the Reefbrite XHO K15. I believe I have it programmed correctly but it goes from fully on to off without dimmer despite the Profilux dashboard showing otherwise. Does the dimmer have to be installed between the power supply cable and the light itself?
