For anyone using the ReefBrite light strips:
1. How do you like the lights?
2. Which series do you have, XHO or standard?
3. Have you measured PAR under them?
4. How is your growth under them?
5. Do you think their worth the $$?
Thx for your feedback!

Hey @Salty1962 we currently use plenty of reebrite XHO all blues with radion G4's, the growth is great and coloration is great. At the same time we keep the heat factor a minimum and bulb replacement to nothing, we love both sets of lights and PAR rating on our Reefbrite XHO blue 72" at 24" high with a 14" tall tank was just over 65-80 Par, we use the radions for the control side as far as colors and intensities. If you want to have a bit of control on your Reefbrites if you go that route you can purchase a dimmer which controls 0-25-50-75-100% as quarter increments. All in all We think they are well worth it, made with quality and great customer service. I personally am doing a current build with their supra dual t5 and XHO blue reefbrite. Hope this helps!

I have always wanted to add them to my lighting. But they are sooooooo expensive. Its insane. I am def not cheap. I have top notch equipment, but man they are expensive.

Well I use 2 reefbrite tech leds all actinic to run over my 30 in x30 in x18 in acro tank for 11 hrs . It's definitely over powered by my halides but adds nice effect for the time halides not on .
PAR is around 50-80 with apogee not much but the effect is amazing .
Get it !!!

Regards,
Abhishek

I would think that a set of 4 of these over a 24" wide tank, and maybe 4-6 inches from the water surface, would provide really decent PAR values.
