I am trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on this tomorrow. I’m getting it from a local fish store the link is for your benefits.

Current Inhabitants:
Midas Blenny
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
One-spot Foxface
Flasher Wrasse
Azure Damselfish
Royal Gramma

Considering Adding:
Blue-Green Mandarin
Coral Beauty Angelfish
Whitetail Bristle tooth Tang
Purple Tang
Diamond goby
Engineer Goby (are they a pain moving things)?
3X Lyretail Anthias (at most one male)
Yellow Tang
Tiger Conch
copepods

My local fish store will take my Red Sea 250g2 in on trade for $1000 and I’m just looking for feedback if this is a good tank purchase. It’s around $2500 off for Black Friday and the max discount.

I don’t plan to get any fish that need bigger than a 150 gallon tank. The species that require a tank larger than this don’t appeal to me due to them being not worth the extra work or they are not visually appealing. I really want a realistic tank full of halfway easy fish and as easy and stress free ownership as possible.

My question is since I want a quality setup and my dream fish list is above does everyone think this tank is the right call or am I forgetting something in the market as far as tanks or the world’s greatest fish I don’t have on my wanted or have list.

Do it!

It's a quality system all right and if you like the red sea ecosystem, then this is the right setup for you!

When it comes to equipment, it's much about preference. Nothing in the G2+ package is bad equipment and you can definetly be successful out of the box with this one.

I like to match my preferred brands but again; personal preference!
