Before getting into reefing I was always a reptile person and didn’t have any interest in fish. Fish was always my dads hobby, but years ago my dad lost his arowana during hurricane sandy and gave up on fish in general (we also got him a puppy so he focused more on the dog) So I wanted to spark his interest in fish again by starting a saltwater tank and now I’m into the hobby. In general all my pets get the same love and attention based on their needs. But so far my reef tank gets a lot of attention due to more tank maintenance as oppose to my other pets.

Horses and dogs - my relationship with horses is like a coworker/professional relationship, dogs are family, and fish are unique, like a god vs earth relationship... it’s fascinating to watch them (like having a window to nature in our living room) but I assume they ignore or at best tolerate my presence.

This is my best buddy Mr. Bingley who is a 15 month old Golden Doodle! He's my best friend!

I love these little guys because the snuggle! I love my fish because they fascinate me!

Juliet and Sweetie Sr. are my cats. The outside guys are just friends, Cutie, Creepy and Orangie.

Also Sweetie 3

Sweetie Sr. is a former feral who after a few years of convincing moved in full time. I thought that would take care of the kitten problem - we also kept Sweetie 3 (There is a Sweetie Jr. and Sweetie 4), but as you can see lots of cats still visit here.
