I did the 75 Gal custom. This is the exact kit

The pics on eBay are not correct for this tank, I think that is a 20L in the pics. With the 75 you get an extra filter sock extra return and a huge refugium. Adjustable up to 12" deep, I plan to run it there and still have plenty of room to catch what comes out of the tank in a power outage.

I used a Marineland tank. Not only are they nicer than the Aqueon, in my case it was much cheaper. I bought from Petsmart on sale.

Since I used Marineland, I needed to go thru the custom order service. Got detailed measurements off my tank and the parts that arrived fit perfectly. I don't think he charges extra for small changes like that. Just no warantee that they will fit. If they don't fit, it's because you screwed up the measurements

Marineland has black silicone if that matters to anyone.

If you go custom, this is the detail he will need to get you the right parts:

Right or left facing is not considered custom. I went right on mine, meaning returns are in the right rear. The one pictured on eBay is left.

Here is how I designed the ATO - gravity fed from RODI tanks near the ceiling.

The mounts are PETG, TPU and Acrylic rods. Snaps right in place for easy maint. I'll be putting one of these in line:

To control it programmatically. Fails to closed position.

Wow, I did not know they had a 75 gallon kit! That must be new since I looked. I already bought my 60 gallon tank, but I've not yet bought the baffle kit, so maybe I'll also go with the 75. I'm going to plumb both a 150 and a 40 to mine, so the extra height to hold water during power-off situations would be nice. Thanks for your reply!

I could really use a mentor to guide me thru the fish room buildout process.

Here is the current status:

I'll be moving this 40" sink

To this spot right next to the sump.

I'll come up with a system to make it easy to do all the testing and adjustments right there. I'll be putting plywood with a gap behind it (to hide pipes, cords, etc) above the sump. So all the reactors and such will be mounted on the wall just above the sump. I have 2 20A circuits right there I will tap into for power.

What I have not begun to figure out is how to best employ the RO and Salt Mix tank configs (those are (2) 30 gal and (1) 50 gal previously used as RO tanks only for hydroponics).

How will build potentially multiple QT tanks? I will have space on the racks and I have tons of aquariums laying around I can drill and plumb any way I like.

Eventually I'd like to put a 3x5 workbench in the middle and put a lowboy frag tank on it. I'd really like to get construction out of the way before I start cycling, so I'm making decisions now that if incorrect are going to be a PITA to change.

The other big one weighing on me is if I go reef pi / robotank or bite the bullet and jump on the commercial controller bandwagon. If robotank was still alive and being actively sold / supported it would be a no brainer. But that does not seem to be the case so I'm guessing I'm on my own to make it all work.

Anyhow, if there are any suggestions on the above I'm all ears. I can build anything and make any part. How would you design this workspace?

Here's the current status, Water is flowing and the herbie is silent. Pretty stoked.

No buckets anywhere. 3D printed stuff everywhere.

By the end of the weekend I will be ready to call it done and start a build thread!

The HVAC is way louder than the fish room. Tank is silent so far. Still lots of stuff to install and plug in so we will see.

Thanks. Thats temporary while I get everything running manually at first. I still need to install a GFCI on that circuit too. Might need a 3rd circuit as well.
