@Arkayology and everyone else....

Here is the update I promised over a month ago...

Photo Rich, Unfortunately my wife has been suffering for 5 months now with debilitating migraines, so the tank, and a lot of things have taken a back seat and have just been on auto pilot beyond some basic maintenance. Lots of growth. Basically I haven't testing a single parameter beyond temp, PH, ORP, and Salinity (APEX FUSION) since the start of my wife's condition started abruptly. Just before all that started I had purchased all of the materials and equipment needed to setup Dosing, but just haven't gotten there. Hopefully soon.

Well here are the tank pics...Enjoy, and feed back or questions are welcome!!!

Controlled "neglect" often works a treat, looks great. :)
What is your kh usage, looks like a lot of healthy growth going on!?

Thanks!

As for kh usage...I have no idea..lol. I do 3 GPD with the AWC. Beyond that...I got nothing...I am afraid to actually check kh. I was struggling with alk trying to keep it above 7 about 8 months ago. I was consistently 6.5-6.75, multiple types of tests. Figured I would setup the AWC do 5gpd for 2 months, then test levels as I dropped down to 3gpd (a heavy 20% WC every 2 weeks). Bought all the equipment and reagents for dosing 2 part, switched to 3gpd and wife got sick, haven't done a thing except clean skimmer cup, broadcast feed, swap out a pump or two, change filter socks no where near as often as I should have, and maybe clean algae once a month.

I think if I was watching ALK I would have significantly more growth, I honestly think the corals are limiting themselves to whats available, not sure if that's a reasonable thought process or not, but new growth on everything, some much slower than others.

Cool, corals look good with it, like I said controlled neglect, I am very much of the KISS method, chasing numbers means changing or adding more things, imo, looks like your "system" looks very content, corals look really healthy and happy. :)

Small update...

Started to buy some corals again, looking for some good yellow frags...

Made a Purchase From Jason Fox, Coralust and participated in the Cherry Corals March Madness Live Sale...

One order I lost completely, pretty sure the box got cold (no heat pack) in transport none of the corals made it, waiting to hear back on a resolution. The other order went just fine, and the new cherries will be in the tank by the end of the week...

Added in a new rock formation to the Tank, I call it "You Feel Ya Cove"...

Unfortunately my camera wasn't cooperating so just have the picks below...
New formation is center back of the tank.

I will try to get some cleaner pics up in the next week or so.
