Today, i plugged the PC4 to computer and changed some name on PC4. I'm not sure if i did/messed up something but after that my Multi-Timer for ALK and CA is not working properly.
I set ALK run at 10 pm for 1:16 min for 10 times during the night, but for some reason it only runs once at 10 pm then wont kick in at 11,12,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) same for CA channel. I'm sure all settings are right as it used to work fine with same setting and all firmwares are up to date. I have 2 PC4, ALK is at channel 4 on power bar 1 and CA is at channel 1 on power bar 2
I tried to reset to factory settings but still did not help.

Does anyone know what caused this issues?
Thanks a lot!

We would need to see you programming for the timers and output port. You can change names on the PC4 via myReef with the system up and running. That should not affect other programming unless something got changed while renaming by accident.

I don't see anything wrong with your programming. Just rember when you chage a timer it make take a 24h cycle for the change to happen. If the Timer is active during the change the active timer will continue until it is no longer active. Not sure this is the issue are not. Have you tried graphing the outputs. To do this you would have to leave the computer hooked up and running via the SID. It cannot go into sleep mode either. Unless you have a NET module you can use to graph these output. Make sure the graphs have a 1 minute resolution.

No, you can setup graphs for the 2 outputs in myReef or the NET module. That way you can track when they come on and off. That will make it easier to troubleshoot if you know exactly what the outputs are doing. To do this in myReef it requires that the computer remain hooked to the system via the SID. You also have to make sure sleep mode is disabled on the computer.

No problem anytime.
Hi
I don't know if you're the go to person on Reefkeeper controller.
I hope so and if so would appreciate your help.
For years, I've been dosing Kalk via the reefkeeper.
The schedule is every 15 minutes for X number of seconds from 5pm - 12:45am (programmed to timer A/1) and 1am - 12:45pm ( programmed to timer B/2)
BTW the reason it was broken up this way was as a failsafe, as suggested, by Digital Aquatics, if one of the timers failed.
Anyway, over the years, it has worked flawlessly.
Today, however, I decided to add a 3rd timer. The idea was to dose a bit more kalk during the timeframe when my PH plummets.
So the new schedule is:
Timer 1: 5pm - 8:45pm
Timer 2: 9pm - 3:45am
Timer 3: 4am - 12:45pm
I was able to program the timers. They show up with the correct numbers.
But when I drill down to my Doser on the PC4 it only shows Timers 1 and 2 as active. Timers 3 and 4 are visible but they are greyed out.
Is there a way of activating them so I can complete the cycle?

If you are using myReef to program it is because the RKE has 4 timers in the multi-timer function. The RKL has 2 and the Archon has 3,

Yes
I have the reefkeeper lite.
So that means I can only program two timers.
Bummer.
In order to try what I want I'll have to adjust for 2 timers.
Thanks so much for the info
