I have a reef keeper Lite that I was given for Christmas that has stopped working. It worked great, then tonight I changed it to my new frag tank, and it no longer works properly. The PowerBar status light is flashing yellow, but the PowerBar does not show up on the head unit.

Did you do any software updates on it since getting it?

Can you access it from a computer with the MyReef software?

It's been so long since I set mine up that I'm trying to remember… Can you have unsaved settings on these, so that when you powered down you lost some piece of the setup?

If you haven't called/contacted DA on this, you should tomorrow. :)

start with the head and update then go to pb4 and update and any other modules you might have .
or
factory reset.

I did a factory reset on the head unit, and I also connected them to the myreef program to make sure they were updated. The head unit I had no problem, the pb4 couldn't be discovered on the computer.

Did you do any updates since the initial setup, or are the modules all still in "factory condition"? (I know you confirmed they are up to date....slightly different question.)

I'm sure there are other possibilities too, but from memory and some brief searching around, the flashing yellow is consistent with a firmware mismatch.

Nothing has gotten wet that I know of. And I did verify as well as program both the head unit and PowerBar when I started using them. All I did was unplug and plug it back in and I now have the issue

Have you switched it off? Make sure the power bar is turned off before you connect it to the SID.

If you've switched it off and are still not seeing the device I'd suggest you contact Digital Aquatics via email.
