I wanted to leave a review for an order placed through ReefPro. I placed an order February 9th. That order was rescheduled multiple times due to inclement weather, fedex delays, and needing to take a day off work to receive the fish. I want to note that I had placed orders for fish and corals through multiple other vendors and had no issues having them shipped during the original time I wanted to receive them. They arrived safe and healthy, and shipped via UPS instead of Fedex (maybe something for ReefPros to consider since Fedex seemingly has so many issues lately).

The day before the order finally shipped, I received a call that 2 of the wrasses in the order were not up to their standards and would not be shipped. I replaced them in the order with a pair of helfrichi firefish and a fathead anthias.

The order arrived on 2/23/22. Most of the fish looked great. The lineatus fairy wrasse was a bit thin, but we figured it would eat and fatten up fine. The hooded fairy wrasse was thinner, and had visible flukes all over it. We treated the fish with prazipro. Flukes were no longer visible the next day and the hooded acted like nothing was wrong, and is fat, active, and eats well. Lineatus continued to hide away, never ate, and was found dead today, 6 days later. The fathead anthias is very nervous, spending 99% of its time hiding in the caves, but will eat if food goes into the cave.

The rest of the fish look good, but for fish supposedly well acclimated to captivity and eating, I was disappointed. Starving to death and visible flukes certainly isn't that, especially when you pay a premium price for those fish, expecting quality.

Dear Fishfreak2009,
Please PM us your order number so we can look into these issues. We sincerely apologize about the 2 fish you are concerned about. We will be more than glad to look into your issue and accommodate to the best of our ability. Also please keep in mind, Sunburst anthias are very cryptic animals. It is normal for them to spend most of there time in the rock-work until they establish dominance in the environment.
