I'm about to be 57.
I'm still on a Zx14r!
And I own a 2013 Harley-Davidson Road Glide CVO.

I don't see the world largest and most expensive mobility scooter (Harley 3 wheeler) in my future.

For me, I need to lean with it, rock with it!
Won't ride a 2 wheeler because of my back. If I fell it would be the end of my mobility so the Harley would be the was to go. Not going to get on a front 2 wheeler though.
I was pulling a strap on a palet at the back end of my semi's trailer and it broke. The fall was 4'. I could not walk without a walker for 8 weeks and that was at 63.
Anyway I still get relapses from bending over the wrong way and the last one lasted 8 weeks.
I won't go into it but I have lost friends and know to many people that have had falls that they never recovered from riding including motocross.
Not to discourage anyone but it's usually the other person you need to look out for.
Be safe and ride on!

I won't "like button" this because it's not a "likeable" situation.

Believe me, I hear ya man!

I'm sure when that day comes for me, if it ever does come (I hope not), I'll be triking too because I can't see life without riding!

My accident a few years ago had me thinking my riding days were over. I thought my walking days were over to be honest.

Wind therapy.
Keep on pushing my friend!

I enjoy reefing and motorcycling! My mixed reef is a newly transferred 75g with a HOB 110 AquaClear filter.
My bike is a Suzuki Boulevard that I rode from Pittsburgh, PA to Scagway, Alaska and back.

It gets you in the wind!
I changed it. It was a fast bike, and great fun to ride - but painfully uncomfortable after about an hour. I now ride a Fatboy (though that's currently garaged for the winter):

And I'm awaiting delivery of a 350 BSA Bantam for winter riding:

I don't do both but reefing fills the void that was left when I stopped riding. I used to average over 25k miles a year on two wheels living in Ohio with winters and a full time job. Gotta love heated gear. I low sided on on a right hand curve and slid under a box truck. The bike was destroyed on impact. I hit hard enough the rear end of the truck was pushed back far enough the drive shaft tell out and the fuel tank was ruptured. I walked away but was never able to get mentally comfortable back in the saddle. It wasn't my first crash but it was my worst. I took the fact that i was able to walk away as some type of sign and decided not to push my luck any further.

Pics are a reminder to never ride faster than your skill level.
