refugium question!!

Hey everyone!

so i just got the tank up and ready for about three weeks now. The sump has live activated bio balls aged for over 20 years. Theres also a dry white live rock in there. The tanks bacteria has been turboed using Dr. Tims again, i have added have a bottlein the main display and now another half the next day in the sump, is anything else needed to add in sump to create a good refugium or isthe rock and bio okay? Want this tank to be the healthiest, its a RedSea 350.

You could add some pods for more bio diversity

i have amphipods and copepods, stars, bristle worms and sponges in my sump with chaeto and some molly fry i think some emerald crabs, and cucumbers. the live rock and sand help host the diversity of detrivores that i think make up a good refugium.

If those bio balls (which I'm not a fan of) are really 20 yrs established then I think you are good to go

i think you are covered and as tank matures , so will the bacteria do its' job. water tests will determine how well its' working
