I have a white snowflake eel who is looking for his forever home. He is very gentle and his hand trained. I am located out of Lima, Ohio, and I just want him to go to a good home. He is scaring the rest of my fish and they are jumping out.

I would try FB Marketplace, or asking your LFS if they want him and see if you can get some store credit.

The only pet store that I have that’s really close to me is a Petco and I tried Facebook marketplace but because it’s a EO they keep flagging it for live animals

How is it scaring your fish and they jump out? I have 4 morays including a snowflake. Shes a sweet eel. I had two fish jump and figured out it was a clown trigger. What other fish do you have? Might not be the eel

The eel did unfortunately. First a clown then I got her all fixed up and she’s been good since and 4 days later the eel went over before I could get him rehomed. It’s quite unfortunate. This was never intended to be his forever home I simply intended on fostering him. My rimless tank doesn’t seem to be very forgiving on curious animals

Yea with fb marketplace ive noticed the only way to get around flagging is to say something like "definitely not real eel decoration". Is that pretty much standard practice?
