Relocated Devils Hand

So I recently relocated a devils hand leather that was being stung by an anemone. During the process I decided to cut a couple of frags. The frags and main coral are doing good. Liger story short when moving the coral the foot stayed behind, kinda ripped off. It looks like the foot may have polyp extension

My question is can a new coral grow just from the foot?
