I am trying to move from NJ to Brooklyn about 7 miles.. and I have a small waterbox 60.2 (under 50 Gal) cube. fairly new system. just few frags and fish in there. nothing overly complicated . If I had a car and drove I would maybe do it myself...

I've searched around for moving services, most cost estimates were around 1200, which seems pricy but maybe not for what I am asking..
Another quote came for 500 with breakdown transport and reset included.. should I be concerned that this person is asking for so little money and go for the more expensive option or does this seem reasonable

What are your thoughts and experiences with moving and which

thanks!

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

I'll bum this up for you and maybe someone in your area will know. I am in the Canandaigua area, so somewhat different market :winking-face:

For $500, does this person have any idea how to break down and resetup a reef aquarium?

Have you tried reaching out to an aquarium maintenance company? I'll bet they could help you.
