Remember to clean your pumps!

Here's a reminder to regularly clean your powerheads and pumps. Don't be lazy (like me lol) Because you'll end up with something like this:

I almost threw up here...and no not because of the ancient formica counters lol

It's supposed to look like that right? ......right?

It's now skimming like a dream once again. It's been at least a year since I cleaned it, I'm ashamed to say...the worst part is, I've cleaned my circulation powerheads several times since then :doh: haha

lol Yesterday our turbo snail made me remember to clean it. ... cause he was on the Return where it sucks the water up and the return pump was not working and the water level was really low in the tank... for how long i have no clue... But everything is okay. Just got me scared! lol.

Oh crap! Haha..turbo snails are a disaster..but they are just so good at their jobs...I'll never have a tank without one haha

try 15 of them lol. i only have them in the sump cause there done with there job. lol there on the Filter socks all day just shomping at the sock getting all the alage. lol
