Repair broken branch on neon tip birdsnest?

Can a broken branch on a neon tip birdsnest be glued back together succesfully? Will it heal over and become strong again? I would like to glue it back on, but if not I can just frag it.

Best bet is to keep it its own frag. Not a big deal IMO. Look at it this way. You now have 2 Birdsnest frags

I'd just frag that piece to another rock or plug.

Seriatopora does not encrust (at least not very much) so no, it won’t work. Just let the tip grow on its own like the other said, boom now you have 2 new ones and within a year you will have 2 colonies a couple inches each.
