Replacing DI resin

Hi, when replacing the DI resin only on your RO system should you run the product water into a bucket for a bit or is that just for the carbon filters?

Most manufacturers recommend flushing 2-3 gallons of water through DI prior to use.

Usually two to three bed volumes, say 60 ounces or around a half gallon of water should rinse up a full size 20 oz vertical cartridge. Your TDS meter will tell you when it is 0 TDS and ready to use.
