Hi all - I have been using the RedSea RSK-600 for 3 years and have upgraded to the DC pump with skimmer overflow.

I am looking into replacing this skimmer with a reef octopus skimmer which ha the facility of overflow prevention, DC pump and Ozone ready.

My tank is a RedSea 425G2

What is the best model to go for

Looking at the 150-S what are your opinions on it?

Also now looking at the Deltec 1000i - what do you guys recommend?

I used both the 1000i and the 150-S. 1000i is less noisy but the 150-S is a better performer if you have high bioload. Both are good choices.

150S it is!
