I have a limited amount of time to respond to questions (usually an hour or two a day, but some lab investigation added about an hour and a half, for a total of about 3 hours today.) Most of my responses over the last few days have been to private messages, which in some cases is entirely appropriate. However, there are times my answers would be of benefit to a wide audience.
