Retro fitting SWC 230 with bubble blaster pump???

So a buddy just gave me a brand new body for SWC 230 skimmer. It had the askoll 1500 pump in it which he needed and kept. This skimmer is a space saving skimmer and the pumps sits inside. I have a brand new bubble blaster 3000 and wondering if anyone has ever retro fitted this skimmer to take a BB pump and mount it outside the body? Please share your build and pics even if with another brand but same idea
