Retro fitting

Hey guys i have a light fixture over my tank right now its running 40w t8s two bulb i am really wanting to set it up with some t5hos what is the best and cheapest way to retro fit. Im pretty cluey with electronics and stuff but never done something that will run 240v i have only worked on cars any help is appreciated

Not sure if this is 240v or not, is UK run off the same as you?

I think most houses are 240v so i guess so :) might just need an adaptor
