hey so I'm just wondering how anyone else would recommend doing the return plumbing on a rimless tank. currently, my 60 gallon rimless has the pic return pipes just hanging over the edge and propped up onto the tank... the tank seems strong enough to hold it though. how else would anyone do it? I'm asking because I plan and setting up a 30 gallon freshwater with an external sump, also rimless.

thanks

My return on my rimless tank just goes over the top of the back wall and rests on the glass.
ok that is what I am doing. just wasn't sure if it would be bad for the tank, long term

Your other option would be to drill the tank if the glass isn't tempered. I think it's a cleaner look to be honest and likely what I'll be doing to mine.
