I am planning to set up same size tank. I had one year back and ran it with an Iwaki 40 high flow model. It worked fine for me.

I have the same tank, and it came with a Sicce Syncra 5.0 1300GPH pump that uses 105W.

However, I have decided to go with a Jebao DCP 8000 instead.
It's adjustable 1004GPH to 2113GPH and only uses 65W at max power.

In addition, I'm adding a second DCP 8000 to run a manifold. Both DCP pumps will consume in electricity what just one Sicce pump will.

Look at the RO Varios line of DC pumps, better quality, controllable, and are that much more in cost. APEX ready also

Depends upon your drain. I have a 1" only and I can't use all of the Sicce Syncra 4 that I have, limiting it with a ball valve to get quiet flow. BTW has been running for 3.5 years and never had an issue on restart.
