Im putting together a 270 gallon aquarium with a 60 gallon sump
Total Volume is 330 Gallons... If you take into account the Sand and Rocks... Probably be in the High 200's.

I really like the Sicce 9.0 however it maxes out at 2500 Gph and would be running at 100% all the time.
Not a fan of Ecotech so I dont see myself getting the L2

Possibly Direct Drive, Are you able to control the flow?

Appreciate some ideas

Thanks

I use the following Jebaos
10,000….2500gph
15,000….3500gph
20,000….5000gph

All running 4 years straight, silent, DC control and very reasonable price.

The red ones the 10,000 and black is 15,000.
The 15,000 must push up 15’ straight and run a 50 Refuge, 10 feet away.

If that helps….

I use jebao return on my 320 display tank.
It's the 2100 gph model
Dcw-8000.

I am running 1 and have 1 in a box for a back up.
I'd need to go through 4 in a year or 2 before it was more cost effective to buy a "higher end" pump.
