I purchased the 75gpd Reverse Osmosis 4 stage Aquarium RODI unit 4 or 5 years ago. It's portable so originally I used to hook it up to my kitchen sink, but my cheap faucet couldn't handle the pressure after a while, so I moved it to the basement, removed the kitchen facet adapter that came with the unit and hooked it up to the laundry spigot (after each use I disconnect and store the rodi away).
I make 5-10 gals weekly. Each year based I replaced the filters and every two years I replace the RO membrane.
I never had a TDS meter attached. That arrived today. It's been a year since I replaced the filter and RO.
The meter read 2 TDS between the RO and Di and 0 TDS going into my container.
Since most product reviews are written a short time after unboxing, I thought it would be helpful to write this up after several years of use.
The unit now sells for $99 and comes in 75/100/150 GPD configuration. Additional stages are available
I recommend this product (I have no relationship other than a customer)
