Rhodactis mushrooms!

Hey al! Was just wondering if anyone could tell me why my mushroom looks like it’s reaching for light?

Cannot tell from this angle. When the mushroom reaches for light, it stretches out its stalk, like in the picture, thats what reaching mushroom looks like.

might be splitting, or perhaps flow made its foot detach at that side/corner.

Ummm, not really reaching in that image. Rhodactis don't always lay flat. Maybe it's just the angle, because I am not seeing it.

These are some of my rhodactis reaching a bit. I've had them stretch further.

Fair enough! I appreciate the replies. The reason I’m asking is because all my others lay flat, or semi flat. This one in particular likes to stretch up 2-4 corners of itself. It’s done it over the last couple days
