Hey guys, got a message in my email encouraging me to start a build thread so here we go,
currently I have a 32 gal bio cube that I have had for the past two years because my previous hosing /apartments only allowed 10 gal or less..... ops lol.
Now I have purchased my own house so I went a bought a 180 gal from the LFS and have been slowly piecing together parts of it when i have the extra. This is to date the largest set up I have attempted to build but i am excited to house some bigger fish and nicer coral, growing up my dad and I worked up to a 100 gal at his house so I have been in the hobby since i was about 13, (21 now) , the left side of the aquarium is where my biocube scape will be set in after the main display cycles I am all about unique designs and constructive feedback so here is what I have so far !
In the future I plan to put 3 radion Gen Fives over the tank for lighting,
Two mp -40s and possibly an ice cap for flow,
the entire apex systems including the doser, leak detector, trident and auto top off,
If there is any equipment you would not recommend leave a comment or anything you would recommend that is a must have that is not already listed.
Currently have
180 gal aquarium & white stand
the red sea reefer 300 for a skimmer,
eshops sump
bulk reef supply RODI 75 gpd
Simplicity 3200 DC return pump
Aqueon 300 watt heater x2
80 lbs sand
120 lbs of live rock
glass tops
misc fish and coral to be moved over from the biocube in the future
