I remember seeing somewhere that you can cut the recordeas in half, kind of like an anemone and they will form back together? Iv had my one ricordea for over a year now and its never split, just looking for some options kind of really. Any advice on what they like most? ECT or if the whole propagation method is possible! Thankyou!

Is it a yuma or Florida? I keep floridas and they grow like crazy with out fragging. Ive never fragged them but theoretically if you frag with a piece of the mouth it should grow.

Never had to cut mine either. I've always just attached them to a rock / put them in the middle of rubble and then they grow like crazy.
