Hi all! These ricordia were my first Corals and have always done really well in various locations in my tanks over the past year and a half. Recently they are starting to get a slightly milky coloring to them. I haven't messed with my lighting or moved them in months. I don't know if it's a lighting issue, (too bright or too dim) but they're sitting around 100 par in medium flow.

Anyone have any ideas on why this happens and any idea what causes it?

The only issue I've had was an alk spike about a month ago. I typically run at 9 and it was up to 14 before I caught it. My sps suffered pretty heavily but I didn't notice much reaction from Lps or softies (of which my softies are all mushrooms) unless this is a reaction from that spike

I'm betting on the alk spike seeing that the coral has been under the same light for a while. I think they will recover though. Some LPS can be good indicators of chemistry swings while others can take some time to show the effects.
