Haha... I don't add up my receipts. But it was close to 4K empty with dry rockscape and I bought the tank used from someone who never set it up. It was still boxed up but I got a good deal on it
I keep hearing around 4K. Lol. Found a Reef Savvy 103gal on here with stand and canopy for $800

Can I borrow all 3 of those for 6 months so I can sit and stare at them in my house? Great looking setups!

I love the look of rimless tanks but the evaporation rate is insane. Probably over 300% greater evap rate compared to when it's covered. That's MY experience of course, others will vary. I guess I'm extra sensitive because we're five years into a drought and are under voluntary water rationing.

Plus, rimless also limits what kind of fish you can keep. As in, no jumpers.

Food for thought.

i'll be getting my first look at how bad the evaporation is on my tank this week.
my wife has a 20G long fresh water that doesn't have a top on and the evap is insane.

i refused to NOT have an ATO on my cube, hopefully it just helps with less trips to the LFS since i don't have a nice RODI set up yet.

My evaporation is easily 10 gallons a week
