When you rinse media like chemipure, GFO, purigen etc, and it says to rinse under running water until clean, do you guys actually use tap water and then rinse off with RO or just go straight to RO?

I do rinses in RODI. Bucket, RO, media, then strain. Sorta like cleaning rice till the water runs clear. Obviously strain according to media size. Honestly don’t know if anyone else does it like this

Edit: the reason I DONT use tap is, I think, the media would start to absorb impurities from the tap
