y'all i am I R K E D and upset.

I did a 10% (5g) water change on my aq (main tank: 1.024sg, new water 1.027sg @78F) and within a few days all but one of my snails bit it, and then today the last one left this world. I used Instant Ocean Reef Crystals. I had two trochus, one astraea.

I was reading some older posts and it looks like the magnesium might've done them in? :( I didn't think a few gallons at a higher sg would be this traumatic to them.

To make matters weirder I checked the the sg yesterday and it was 1.021-22 (???) and I increased it back to 1.024-25. Absolutely bizarre!
