This is a very sad news and all my thoughts to his familly and people at tropic marin
I will remembering as this kind and passionate educational spokeperson and great salesman and first advocate for tropic marin.
convinced me to use so many of their product like Allforreef or the new block system and carbon dosing and continue to this day with success.

Mister Ekus, you are one of the great of this hobby and will continue to live for a long time throught your video on youtube and post on this forum.

you will be missed

I also want to add a few words about Lou, who answered the questions on our Tropic Marin products and other questions together with me in this forum.

The cooperation with Lou was a wonderful time. It was always a joy to work with him. His friendliness and patience seemed to have no limits, and this was the way he communicated with everyone. I think this is what you feel reading through this thread.

In the evenings after the work of a trade fair's day all of us in the company enjoyed his wonderful humour and his entertaining talent.

This is the way Lou will live on in my memory.

He wil live on in the memories of many people who spoke and communicated with him, of people who knew him, and in his excellent videos.

Wow, very sad news. We will miss a great man with a lot of knowledge and great personallity. 😥

Just learned of Lou’s passing. A huge loss for the reefing community. He gave so much knowledge and support over the years. His impact on this hobby will never be forgotten. Thank you, Lou.
