Can not get my TDS back down to 0. Changed DI resin and it went from 8tds to 12tds. Changed sediment then both membrains and it went up with each change. Changed both carbon filters and now I am at 100 tds. Changed resin again and still reading high. Purchased a separate TDS meter and it is getting the same reading as the one on the unit. Tested that new meter on distilled water and got 0 TDS. I am lost and do not know what to do as all the filters are new. System is about 2 years old. Please help

When you change your carbon blocks, disconnect the line leading to the membrane for atleast 5 minutes to flush the pre filters. The black fines can distroy your ro membrane. Also after installing a new membrane, it takes quite a bit of time for everything to run properly. Also try reseating the membrane, i had an issue with high tds leaving the membrane untill i reseated it.

What is your water input pressure, TDS of input water...Also measure each stage to see which component is the culprit......The DI resin does not need to be rinsed........I never do that.....

After the membrane, the TDS is less than 9 normally....if you have TDS like 40 coming out of the membrane than that will finish the DI resin real fast....

Lets do it..Divide and conquer.....1 stage at a time.. Good luck and we are more than happy to help you!

I do not know the pressure going in but it has always been fine and I have gotten 0 TDS till now. But I will do the test after each component tomorrow and post results. Hopefully I will get it figured out as I am out of water

The tds will go up in between times you are making water .When I first turn my unit on it will read 0 but then in a few minutes it goes up I think until all standing water in unit goes through I have had it go up as high as 50 before it comes back down to 0 it usually takes about 5 minutes

Yes I usually let my system run for 10min or so to compensate for that
