Rocco's Eshopps Mariner M180

Hey, mister, no avoiding the main question in post #16. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, because it's a holiday weekend, and believe you just forgot to answer the question. I'll also be kind enough to ask it again, "Is your M180 up and running?"

Also, did you make it to RAP?
Hey! Sorry I didn't see any notifications from the thread! The tank is not running yet. However, I have some updates...

-I got my RODI setup this weekend, no leaks!
-The rock scape is done and soaking in rodi water per the instructions from Ecoscape
-The plumbing is 99% done - my reefmat 1200 is missing the o-ring for the union connector thing. The replacement should be here tomorrow.
-Lights are mounted - Not sure I posted about it but I was going to hang my lights, got very paranoid about them falling, so I ordered some t-slot and mounted them to the wall. Got the idea from a couple of videos I saw on youtube

Plans for the week/weekend are to finish the plumbing and then leak test the tank and hope that my first time plumb job was good. If all is well, I am planning on filling the tank this weekend and getting the salt mixed in. June 12th is my pickup date for my TBS sand and some rock so I have a lot to get done still!

PS, I made it to RAP, I went on Sunday and had a great time! Got to meet Scott and Bob with Eshopps and see the new 40 gallon in person. I think next year I will go both days for sure! Did you end up going?

Thanks for the update.

Sounds like you've been busy and getting a lot done. I'd like to see pics of how you mounted the lights to the wall as I am going to do the same thing on mine. If you don't mind.

Cool that you made it to RAP and talked with the eshoppes guys. I was not able to make it. Perhaps next year.

Stoked for you to get everything set up and running!

Sure thing, this was just a quick shot after I got it mounted up. I can pull a parts list if you would like.

Nice job!

I appreciate the parts list offer but do not believe I need it. If anything should change then I'll let you know.

Exciting!!
My M180 is filling right now. Got the RODI plumbed in over the weekend.
(Still needs some cord management, don’t judge! 😉)

This is such a cool way of using the crate cover. Well done! haha!
