Hello everyone

Have a quick question. I have a beautiful Rock Flower and it's been doing well for a while. Recently I had an explosion of what appear to be sand sifting stars in my tank. Hitchikers that just now decided to expose themselves.

Anyway my question is should I remove them. Will they attack the rock flower?

Thaks in advance

Most likely asterina stars (will need a picture to ID) most are reef safe, but some are not. I would try to remove all specimens as they are very invasive.. although they do a good job of cleaning

usually don't have sand sifting babies coming out of the sand, most likely asterina stars. My tank was full of them till I got an pair of harlequin shrimp.
