Rock Flower Anemone?

I had a nem hitch hike in on a snail a few months back. I thought he was cool so I let him move in. He has since multiplied x6. I don’t want this guy to get out of hand. Is he safe for my tank? Fish? Anyway to stop the multiplication? Thanks.

It’s not a rock flower might possibly be a bubble tip but I’m not an expert.
But Definitely not a rock nem for sure.
They will continue to multiply and fill every square inch of the tank.

Those look like bubble tips. What do they look like under blue light?

Fun thing is based on their size, they could be nexus bubble tips, since those stay smaller. It almost looks like one has some green tentacles whereas the rest are orange.

Yes peroxide just use the proper grade unlike me I almost killed everything in my tank with the antiseptic grade from the grocery store.
Luckily I sent in a water lab test and found high levels of tin and as soon as I remedied that tank came back to life!
And look at her now!!

ID them first. If they were a good nem that hitchhiked, just trade in the splits to your LFS for credit or sell them.

Thiose look like majano (or similar) anemones to me. They might be bubble tips but definitely aren't rock flowers. They will continue to spread, it's up to you if it's worth it or not to let them stay.

Invasive Majano often resemble BTA just smaller. This is just another pest anemone that will sting corals imo.

Could be, just saying nexus stay small. Plus the pattern on the inner mouth has more of a bta speckling than most majano will have.

I'm starting to lean that way as well, look at the top of the rock. That looks like bubble tip tentacles to me

Majano is a catch all name, there's different varieties. I have seen some gorgeous bubbly tipped Majano.
The Anemone is reproducing quickly, like all Anemone it will likely sting or irritate nearby corals.
It's obviously a decision of individual preference. I ripped down a tank once over a Majano invasion.

Yeah but don’t those look like they are at least an inch wide? Do mojano get that big? I never know because I always kill them before they grow…lol

Here are some more pictures. The inner disc has a greenish glow under actinic light. The biggest one on bottom is the original. The rest are clones. The arms are reddish/rose. Would like to positive ID them before I either exterminate them or try to remove them. Thanks

Hopefully someone will come up with a definitive ID. I too am using Majano as a catch all, I have also seen large Majano.
If an Anemone introduced to a tank via a snail shell reproduces so successfully I am inclined to think it's invasive.
Again, though it's the individual hobbyist decision to wait and watch or intervene.
