Picked up my first Rock Flower Anemone yesterday. Just know the basics, but what would be the ideal place you would be happy for them to settle in? Yesterday, mind started in the front left of my tank, now today has settled and kind of wedged itself more towards the back between a rock and sand. Wondering if that's a good spot for it or will it move eventually. Thank you. Pic isn't the best. Sorry.

Maybe let it settle in for a week, and see what spot it decides upon. If you can see it and enjoy it from there, finished. If not, and you have to move it, hopefully you can do it carefully-- given its delicate foot. Best wishes!

My LFS guy told me eventually if they're happy, they'll attach themselves to a rock. Just curious if mine being wedged between the sand and rock on the bottom is acceptable. Not like I would move it, but just curious.

Any spot or behavior that would be a red flag for you? Mine is open and full of color, just wondering if I should give it more space to move if need be or just leave it, it decided to move to a very crowded part of my tank.

Thanks for the responses

I can't see that being on a rock right away (especially if it is adhering to the glass) is mission-critical.

Its my understanding that if it finds a spot, it likes it. If you cant see if at all, i assume there are ways to move it, i've heard point some flow at it? (Probably very carefully but idk) but i wouldn't bother unless I had to
