Whats yalls opinion on rocks leaning on the back glass or super close to the back glass. I kist feel there is a lot of wasted space in the back of the tank.
Pain to clean around or if you drop something. Worst case scenario you bump it and it cracks the glass.

I've absolutely done it before on my older tanks and with my wrap around tank in my basement. I do however like to leave space now for water flow and an area for the fish to swim more. Best of luck :)

Done it in a 55 long years ago, little choice which a small width.
Worked fine, but no way to clean back glass from “stuff”.

If you got the space, I would move them out, like a centerpiece.

I lean my rocks on my back glass, always have, always will. I dont like the wasted space, and I dont like fish being able to hide behind the rocks. I just scrape around the rocks, and what I cant reach I cant really see, and gotta leave something for snails to eat anyway. I have a small powerhead pointed behind the rocks, and overall excellent flow in my tanks. About 17 years of keeping aquariums, and never had any situation or fear of glass cracking or breaking. I've broken many tanks just trying to clean them, but never had a rock break a tank.

I feel a lot of myths about it are just that, myths. It's comes down to personal preference IMHO.

You don't think water pressure alone is enough... Just a query:)
