Just curious about anyone's experience with using three filters in series: roller mat, skimmer, and refugium. Does chaeto work well positioned after your roller and skimmer? Is it hard to utilize all three well?

Thanks for any insights,
M.Y.

Don't have roller mat. Do have skimmer intake pump positioned in first chamber before refugium where red ogo not only handles nutrient export but is great treat for my tangs - full cycle! I bought red ogo, chaeto & sea lettuce all at same time. My chaeto broke down and if i didn't have the AlgaeBarn bottle I'd have sworn never purchased chaeto. Red Ogo grows well even with nearly daily trimming to feed tangs. Dragon Tongue grows to slow for me to be anything but rare tang treat. My light is just a $7 for 2 5000K LED by CREE from local home improvement store, with shop light clamp.
