I am thinking about installing the ClariSea 5000 in my Trigger 34" sump. However, I would have to move the skimmer into the center section where I am currently growing chaeto. Do you think the rollermat will remove the need for chaeto? I am constantly battling high nutrients and don't change my socks as often as I should (about 1x per week). PO4 is ~.3, Nitrate is ~20. Monthly 30% water changes.

Would never remove chaeto. Filter roller only takes out large stuff, refugium with chaeto taking out nitrates and phosphates as well as CO2 keeping pH up. No comparison!!!
