I came home from work to see that my RBA had split and were now about 3" away from each other.

should I do something to try to move one?
I'm guessing it will move on its own?
feed? add chemicals?

Tanks is about 2-3 years old, and RBA has been there for at least 1.5 years

You don't have to do anything except feed them. My daughter's RBA split twice and so she has 3 and all are healthy.

It is cool when they split for the first time. I'm starting to wish I never got an anemone. First they split...cool!...then they move on top of a coral...not cool!...then they split some more and you now have more than you really wanted...ugh! Although your's lasted a while. I got one about 6 months ago and I currently have 5 in my tank. I already gave one to the LFS and I just peeled off two more to give away.

send a few to me in Texas.. LOL
I have one that is about 6 inches across and looks like it will never split. Then again I am going for every color BTA in my tank sooner or later.

Thanks,

It looked like it would split several times, but never did. Made almost figure 8 several times, and went back to the same over the year. Might be coincidence, but I started dosing calcium and Alk about 3 weeks ago, because I added a maxima clam.

I was going to post pic's, but I need to clean the glass. Only place the tank seems to have algae

This is the reason I started an anemone tank. I have 5 in the main tank and moved one over recently with another to follow, the rest I'll probably give away.
