Rose tip BTA versus frogspawn.

My BTA has stayed put and thri in the three months since I put I added it. Now it’s been inching out of it’s spot and today it’s coming really close to my frogspawn. It’s like a dance, but the couple times tentacles have touched, it’s the ‘nem that seems to retract. I have no place really to move the frogspawn. Maybe the ‘nem will realize it’s old spot was nicer? Of course, my clowns, who have adopted the frogspawn, still have no interest in the big, roomy anemone right next door!

I think you should just keep an eye on the anemone just to make sure. While you do that, You could also look for new placement (If there is or could be any) for the frogspawn in case the anemone continues to move. Great looking tank though!

You could buy a magnetic rock island that goes on the wall/glass and place the frogspawn on that.

Usually the anemone will win the stinging war. I'd try to find a different spot for your frog spawn.

A temporary fix. I swayed the BTA back a bit and put a rock to keep them further apart. The BTA will probably just move onto the rock and create even more havoc. Maybe not though!

Well I guess you can’t stop an anemone on a walkabout. This is three days later...had to do a major reshuffle of corals in its path. Funny thing is that’s where I tried to put it in the first place!

Glad it worked out.
My bta and hammers have been close for 2 years. They occasionally lock tentacles, but don't seem to care otherwise.
