Considering adding a royal gramma to my 38g cycled tank. Currently I have two occeleris (sorry spelling) clowns and a skunk shrimp. Any considerations I need to know about with royal gramma's? Also, do I need to qt, or are they hardy enough to just drip acclimate?

Good, hardy fish. As always, acclimate him for 1-2 hours. He will get along fine with the other livestock. Sometimes they find really good hiding spots, so don't get too worried if he goes missing.

I have a 36g with a clownfish, a pair of lyretail anthias, a purple firefish, a midas blenny and a royal gramma. Also have a pistol shrimp, cleaner shrimp, serpent starfish, sea cucumber with various crabs and snails. Every one gets along well. The royal gramma was my next to last fish added as they are assertive. I did not QT but its a good practice.

Wow, that's a lot for 38g. Great that they all get along. Here is my plan:

2 clowns
1 cleaner
1 royal gramma
1 yellow tang (I know)
Anemone
Various corals
Possibly one other fish tbd.
