Logan,
I just picked up a new rp-m from wet pets in CT with store credit.
Is kinda noisy. Too describe the noise I would say it sounds like an old tractor chugging along. I know in the book it says give it a week to calm down but will it really? I took the impeller out and it looks like it has scratches inside of it. Also had flashing on the back side of the blades which I deburred. Is this normal or something else going on?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

That noise is not normal. Please contact us via pm with your address and we will send a new impeller and bushings for your pump.

Okay, thank you
I received your PM- the bushings and new impeller have already shipped.

From the sound of it, your pump is missing the front bushing, which would definitely make for a lot of noise in operation. Let me know if you need any help with the installation, these are super easy to take apart so it should be a quick fix.

Thank you for your super excellent customer service. I will be looking forward to the package.
I think you are right, sometimes it shimmys(for lack of a better term) and slows down until it straightens out then speeds up again.
